Huruma Children's Home does not receive funding from the government or any government organizations. We are therefore fully dependent on contributions from private persons, corporations and organizations. With the ever increasing need from destitute children, HURUMA is desperately trying to expand its facilities to provide comprehensive care to more needy children. Especially the new school project needs funding for it to be completed.

Objectives

The sponsorship program is geared towards improving the overall state of HURUMA Children's Home, and help the orphaned and abandoned poor children shape their future. We at HURUMA believe that education is the best way for the children to escape the miserable situation they are in. Sponsorship will go a long way in the provision of basic needs and quality education. This will enable the children in future to become independent, functioning and responsible members of society. It will also let the children get a relatively normal and joyful childhood in spite of their difficult backgrounds.
